GS-0401-11:
A. Degree:
biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of education and
Experience:
Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, you must also possess experience and/or directly related education in the amounts listed below. Specialized Experience Requirement:
For the GS-11:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as the following:
Participated in developing plans to overcome significant resource problems related to forest management, range management, fisheries and wildlife habitat restoration; Conducted long/short term studies and investigations on the use of soils, water, vegetation, timber, wildlife, and other natural resources as part of the land management/natural resources program and restoration efforts; Coordinated surveys, analyzed biological data, and analyzed a variety of data associated with environmental studies; Assisted in planning, administering, and evaluating various natural resources and environmental protection programs to ensure proper consideration is given to resource conservation and protection measures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
