About Caldwell UNC Emergency Department:
Caldwell UNC Emergency Department includes 17 beds and a dedicated 5 bed behavioral health zone with private rooms.
We have 1 major trauma room, a triage room for initial assessment, PIT (Provider in Triage) for cases with less acuity, in department radiology capabilities and a decontamination area.
Our ED team cares for patients in all life threatening situations, less-critical injuries requiring minor treatment, acute and behavioral health diagnoses.
Patients with cardiac conditions receive expedient, excellent care.
Caldwell UNC Emergency Department recently participated in a Joint Commission survey to become Stroke Accredited.
The Leadership team is focused on team work and positive co-worker recognition for staff in our fast-paced work environment.

Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
If hired after October 1, 2015 must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or compact state.
Two (2) years of health care experience as a Registered Nurse.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Clinical Support Tech / Nurse Assistant:
High School diploma or GED Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must be fluent in verbal and written English language.
Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
